So I’m really bad at blogging, it seems to be an almost yearly thing for me rather then a daily or weekly as it should be. Never the less, I’ve completed the long awaited (by that I mean I was waiting for myself to finish it) album called “Day By Day” you can have a listen below.
Well it’s been another year almost since I’ve posted I really don’t know if anyone even reads these but anyway. I’ve bought a nice cheap telecaster as you can see below:
And during the holidays I’ve been trying to do something creative, I had big ideas to design and build my own guitar, but I never got around to it. I did however build a cheap little portable guitar amp shown below:
Uni will be starting next week too, back to studying Chinese. I’ll try to keep this updated but we’ll see, who even read this?
So it’s probably been close to a year since I last posted, sorry about that. I’ve been slowly adjusting to Sydney and rather then get a job I decided to go back to study. I’m studying Chinese and quite enjoying it.
Musically well I am the proud owner of a nice acoustic Cole Clark guitar beautiful Australian made guitar. Got some electric drums and a keyboard. You can see my drums which I play through VSTs on my youtube Feel free to look through my youtube channel to find more videos some music related some not.
My least favourite thing to do, looking for jobs! So upon complete the move to Sydney I now find myself in Centrelink “job search trainig” which is very horrible and I really cant stand it.
On a side note, I’ve started using Twitter so you can add me here http://twitter.com/kerodean
On the 22nd of January (in four days from this post) I’ll be packing up and moving to Sydney. This move has got me thinking about perhaps performing in some open mic nights, I’m not sure when or where because I simply wont have any friends in Sydney, let alone a car.
I couldnt imagine carrying my laptop and keyboard on a train for 45 minutes to get into the city to perform for 15minutes. I guess it would have to be acoustic. Anyway I’ll keep you posted if I ever do go ahead with that.
So I completed the album Abit Closer, which is a collection of mostly electronic music from the last few months since I’ve arrived back in Australia, previously I’d been living in London for a year which surprisingly didn’t inspire me very much, most of the songs I made during that time you can hear on the album “Leaves”.
Next week I will be moving to Sydney, I seemingly never stop moving, but I do hope very much that Sydney will be as inspiring as New York was when I visited it last year for a week. Anyway I’m very bored at the moment and just posted this to let you know “Abit Closer” is open for listening.
Im working on some new albums, making songs here and there. Ive been downloading free software synths and playing, experimenting. Ive got a few piano tracks but the next album will be electro style, more like daft punk and M83, Ive really gotten into M83 in a big way, I liked what I heard from them but only recently decided to listen to their albums thoroughly.
